Osho Ashram or Ashram of Bhagwaan Rajneesh, as Rajneesh Chandra Mohan called himself, located in Pune is a destination for people seeking spiritualism. Osho, the mystical preacher and professor of Philosophy a flamboyant guru was not a follower of any particular religion, tradition or philosophy. The Osho Commune

People who come to Ashram and join in the Osho Commune are ascribed new names and titles like the men are called 'Swami' and the women are called 'Ma'. Residents of Ashram are robed in maroon colored outfits for day time daily chores and white robes for evening meditation with a 108 beads of 'Rudraksha Mala' round their neck. The Buddha Hall is the main location for meditating and dancing where “White Robe Brotherhood” come accumulate in evening. The “Osho Samadhi” is also important as the ashes of Guru are kept here.

People who are desirous of of meditating at the commune have a fill up an application form, undergo a HIV test at the spot and buy three robes of maroon and white color. Meditation cost Rs.100 per day for foreigners and Rs.35 for Indians. A casual visitor to the Ashram can tour for an hour and have a video presentation that is worth Rs. 70 which includes some Osho Literature.
